Our aerial construction capabilities include building aerial fiber plants using traditional strand and lash methods for fiber optic cable installation. We offer new pole and anchor placement, make-ready, overlash, and wreck-out solutions. Underground Construction

Buck’s Communications provides high-quality installation and maintenance services of underground fiber optic networks to telecommunications companies, governmental agencies, municipalities, universities, and large enterprise clients throughout the Southeast. We are known for high-quality work with an emphasis on customer service.

Our underground construction capabilities include subduct and conduit placement, duct rodding, and direct-bury solutions through trenched and trenchless technologies. We are experienced in mainline fiber and duct placement, fiber to the home, service drops, manholes, handholes, and pedestal placement.

Fiber and Copper Splicing

Buck’s Communications opened its doors in 1984, providing primarily copper cable splicing to independent telephone companies. In 1989, we migrated into splicing fiber optic cable. Since that time, a lot has changed. We’ve grown with the industry, evolving and implementing new skills and best practices along the way.

The transition from copper telephone cables to fiber optic cables was driven by the need for faster, higher-bandwidth communication and fiber optics’ ability to transmit data at, literally, the speed of light. With over four decades of experience, we are well-versed in all aspects of telco copper cable and fiber optic splicing.
